Focus and Scope
The Journal of Research in Health Sciences (JRHS) is a peer-reviewed, scientific publication which is produced quarterly and is a multidisciplinary journal in the field of public health, publishing contributions from Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Health Education, and Preventive and Social Medicine.
We do not publish clinical trials, nursing studies, animal studies, qualitative studies, nutritional studies, health insurance, and hospital management. In addition, we do not publish the results of laboratory and chemical studies in the field of ergonomics, occupational health, and environmental health.

Review articles
Maximum length: 5000 words of text (not including abstract, tables, figures, and references) with a short structured abstract of 350 words. Reviews should include the following sections: Introduction (up to 500 words), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion with a maximum of 5 tables and/or figures and at most 70 references.

Original Articles
Maximum length: 3000 words of text (not including abstract, tables, figures, and references) with a short structured abstract of 250 words. Articles should include the following sections: Introduction (up to 500 words), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion with a maximum of 5 tables and/or figures and at most 30 references.

Short Communications
Maximum length: 2000 words of text (not including abstract, tables, figures, and references) with a short structured abstract of 150 words. Reports should include the following sections: Introduction (up to 500 words), Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion with a maximum of 3 tables and/or figures and at most 20 references.

Letter to the editor
Maximum length: 600 words of text (not including table or figure, and references) with no abstract. Letters should not be divided into sections with a maximum of one table or figure and at most 8 references.

Peer Review Process
All contributions are read by two or more reviewers using 'Review Form' to ensure originality, accuracy and relevance. Manuscripts are blinded to reviewers. When a manuscript is returned for revision prior to final acceptance, the revised version must be submitted as soon as possible within two weeks after the author's receipt of the reviewers' comments.
Authors are requested to upload the revised copy of manuscript showing the changes, deletions, and/or additions. Along with revised copy, responses to the editor's and reviewers' comments are also requested.
Open Access Policy
The Journal of Research in Health Sciences is fully Open Acess. This license allows any user to redistribute the article without requesting permission from the copyright holder.
