Abstract

The aims of this study were to assess the demographic and some epidemiological features among patients of Kerman emergency services. The research was a cross-sectional study and conducted in 30 days period (2001 Feb.). The questionnaires and a checklist were used for data recollection. Six hundred sixty 660 patients, (480 males and 180 females.) participated in this study. The average of subjects' age was 25 years. The findings of the study reveal that for the most of cases the physicians and interns who were responsible for screening process were not matched to their specialty and expertise's.  It seems necessary to employ specialist who have sufficient expertises and adequate knowledge regard to the patient management.
